Alive with activity and sound, expERIEnce Children's Museum encourages kids to move around, explore the world and, above all, have fun. Exhibit areas offer activities like shooting plastic balls out of pressurized hoses and tubes, playing with magnets of all shapes and sizes, maneuvering robots with remote controls and more. Each different room and activity presents not only a new world of fun: it also helps bring to a child's level some of the great scientific and cultural ideas so vital to modern living. A variety of special events and programs, like Toddler Thursday Story Time and summer mini-camps give the museum even more appeal. It sits near the Erie Art Museum in Discovery Square, just a few blocks inland from lovely Lake Erie.
